Alix and I have worked together for the past 15years at St Pirans school. Alix has guided and supported me so much with swimming teaching, she was a truly inspirational person and totally dedicated teacher, with so much passion for the children and the sport. 
When I last visited Alix, only two weeks before her passing, we talked and laughed alot about our memories of teaching together and the fun time we had.

Alix was such a brave person to the bitter end. She will be missed by all who knew her.
